‘Longissima Alba’ is one of the most beautiful and fragrant of the white Wisterias. In Spring, clear white flowers open gradually in bunches sometimes 20 inches long. Each dense cluster bears 130 to 150 flowers. he leaflets are shiny light green, turning clear yellow in fall. Large showy seedpods decorate the vines in fall. This vigorous vine needs to be trained for the first 3 years to establish, then requires annual spring pruning after flowering.
