High yields of uniform reddish-purple sweet potatoes. Vines produce sweet potatoes with tender, tasty orange flesh. Developed in 1987 at Louisiana State University. Plant after last frost date, once the soil has warmed. Produces in cool-season areas. Disease-resistant to fusarium wilt and rot. Resists cracking. Stores well. Heat-tolerant. Harvest before frost.
