Salvia chionophylla

This plant has a lax habit, making it useful for a hanging basket or evergreen groundcover. Stems are covered with small pale gray-green leaves (like snowflakes), which cascade down and produce small violet-blue flowers in summer. Grown for its attractive foliage. This dry-garden plant is native to the mountains of the Chihuahuan desert of North Central Mexico.
