Picea abies ‘Fat Cat’

A dense, rounded, dwarf form of the Norway Spruce, this globose selection has very short, stiff needles on short shoots that give it the appearance of a rotund, green cat, curled up in a ball for a snooze. Originating as a witches’ broom on Picea abies ‘Graciosa’, ‘Fat Cat’ is extremely hardy, reliable and slow-growing.
