Acer x pseudosieboldianum ‘Ice Dragon’

An all-season, small garden maple selected to tolerate Zone 4 winters while retaining the refined qualities of less hardy Japanese Maples. Spring leaves unfurl blushed orange-red, quickly maturing to green. In summer the finely divided leaves are durable and tolerant of sun and heat. In late fall the foliage becomes a kaleidoscope of yellow, orange and red. After leaf drop, the undulating branch structure is a visual treat during the winter.
