1945 AAS winner! Fordhook Lima Bean is the gold standard for bush lima beans. Heat-tolerant and remains prolific during periods of extended drought and heat. 4″ pods with 3-5 large beans per pod. The white beans have an excellent, nutty flavor that’s great for fresh eating. It is also a great variety for preservation. It retains flavor well when pressure-canned or when blanched and frozen.
