Very popular for use in large perennial beds, often seen grown as a large specimen or focal point in parks and botanical gardens. This selection is considered an improvement over other variegated Giant Reeds due to its ability to maintain the variegation all season long. It features cream, sage green and dark green stripes that alternate along the wide, corn-like leaves. Spikes of tan flowers may appear in the autumn.
