Fuschia hybrida

Introduced in 1905, this upright fuchsia is more tolerant of heat than most. With its bronze-red foliage and hummingbird attracting brick red flowers it has stood the test of time.  Blooms all season long. Shaded or semi-shaded area. Keep out of direct sun. Protect from wind. Plant in rich, moist but well-drained soil.
