Pruning: Group 3
Blooms on new wood (growth) each year. Prune the main stems back to 3 feet above the ground in February or March. Leave at least one pair of strong-looking buds on each stem. Remove any dead, broken, or weak stems too. Deadheading is not required. Remove faded blooms to create a tidier appearance.
