Clematis, Raymond Evison™ ‘Gurnsey Flute™’ -New For 2024

Clematis ‘Gurnsey Flute™

The exquisite large star-shaped, pure white flowers with red anthers are formed from May through July, clothing the plant from base to tip. Reliably repeat flowers into September. It makes a wonderful addition to a patio, in a container, or the mid to front of a flower border, where its longevity of successive flowers can be fully appreciated.

This exceptional clematis has an unusual but endearing trait of holding just opened flower buds for an extended period, almost like a champagne flute, hence the use of ‘flute’ in its name. Flowers open fully flat with pointed sepals and generous proportions when they mature. Possibly the most robust flower of any white form of large-flowered hybrid clematis.
